Interviewer: Izzi, you’ve grown an impressive following across multiple platforms and gained recognition on some of the biggest tech stages worldwide. How did this journey start for you?
Izzi Boye: It all began from home. I got my first degree in Chemistry Education, but had a passion for technology. I started making simple, honest tech reviews to help everyday Africans understand gadgets better. No fancy setups, just relatable content. That’s what really connected with people.
Interviewer: That’s truly inspiring. Can you tell us about any recent projects you are excited about?
Izzi Boye: Absolutely. In 2025, I launched @izzi_verse, which is my way of bringing tech, gaming, and storytelling together in one immersive space. It’s more than just content; it’s about building a vibrant community where fans can engage live, play games, and share ideas. I believe gaming is a massive opportunity in Africa right now, and @izzi_verse lets me connect with my audience in a way that feels real, fun, and inclusive. It’s a project I’m very proud of because it reflects where digital culture is headed.
Interviewer: That sounds like a groundbreaking leap forward. You’ll be attending VivaTech Paris 2025 as an official Ambassador, a huge milestone for any creator, especially from Africa. What does that represent for you and the continent?
Izzi Boye: It’s a breakthrough moment, showing African creators aren’t just spectators. We’re leading innovation, shaping narratives, and influencing global tech. For me, it’s about opening doors for others and proving our voices matter on the world stage.
Interviewer: That really highlights the significance of your role. Your content is praised for its authenticity and local relevance. How do you maintain that as your audience grows globally?
Izzi Boye: Authenticity is everything. I speak to my community first, keeping their realities in mind — things like pricing, network compatibility, and everyday use. I always try to view things from the perspective of the average consumer. If it doesn’t work for us here, it won’t work anywhere. That trust has been the foundation of everything.
Interviewer: Remarkable perspective. What challenges have you faced, and how have they shaped your approach?
Izzi Boye: The usual hurdles such as power outages, expensive data, and limited devices taught me resilience and creativity. I learned to work with what I have and stay consistent. Those challenges make my content even more relatable and credible.
Interviewer: That’s a powerful journey. Lastly, for anyone dreaming of showing up online as a tech creator or digital influencer and making their mark in this fast-evolving space, what’s one piece of advice you’d give them?
Izzi Boye: Be consistent, stay authentic, and always focus on creating real value for your audience. The tech space moves fast, but those who build trust and genuinely connect will stand the test of time. Don’t chase trends, build your own path.
